About

• Human Reference Gut Microbiome v2 (HRGM2) is an updated human gut microbiome catalog, which exclusively includes near-complete (NC) genomes (Completeness ≥ 90%, Contamination ≤ 5%, and GUNC CSS < 0.45) with expanded geographic sampling.
• HRGM2 includes genomes assembled from 18,111 WMS samples collected from 41 countries, covering previously unsampled countries in Southeast Asia, Africa, and South America.
• HRGM2 comprises 155,211 non-redundant NC genomes representing 4,824 species.
